Right Form Of Verb Exercise With Rules
১. Singular Subject হলে Verb-এর সাথে -s/-es যোগ হয়।
নিয়ম:
He, She, It বা একবচন Third Person Singular Subject থাকলে Verb-এর শেষে -s বা -es যোগ হয়।
উদাহরণ:
- He plays football.
- She goes to school.
অনুশীলনী:
a) The cat ____ (jump) on the table.
b) He ____ (watch) TV every day.
২. Plural Subject হলে Verb-এর সাথে -s/-es যোগ হয় না।
নিয়ম:
They, We, I বা বহুবচন Subject থাকলে Verb-এর মূল রূপ ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
Example:
- They play cricket.
- We go to school.

৩. To-এর পরে Verb-এর base form হয়।
Rule:
- To এর পর কোনো Verb থাকলে সেটি base form (মূল রূপ) হবে।
Example: - I want to eat.
- She likes to sing.
Exercise:
a) He wants to ____ (go) there.
b) I like to ____ (read) stories.
৪. Modal Verbs-এর পরে Verb-এর base form থাকে।
Rule:
- Modal Verbs (can, could, may, might, must, shall, should, will, would) এর পর verb-এর মূল রূপ বসে।
Example: - He can run fast.
- You should study more.
Exercise:
a) You must ____ (follow) the rules.
b) She might ____ (join) us.
৫. Past tense-এর জন্য Verb-এর past form ব্যবহার করতে হয়।
Rule:
- Simple past tense-এ verb-এর past form বসে।
Example: - He went to school yesterday.
- I saw a bird.

b) She ____ (buy) a dress.
৬. Progressive tense-এর জন্য Verb-এর শেষে -ing যোগ হয়।
Rule:
- Present, Past বা Future Progressive Tense-এ be verb-এর সাথে verb-এর শেষে -ing যোগ হয়।
Example: - He is reading a book.
- They were playing cricket.
Exercise:
a) She is ____ (write) a letter.
b) They were ____ (watch) TV.
৭. Perfect Tense-এর জন্য Verb-এর Past Participle (V3) হয়।
Rule:
- Perfect tense-এ have/has/had-এর পরে verb-এর Past Participle (V3) বসে।
Example: - She has eaten lunch.
- They had completed the project.
Exercise:
a) I have ____ (finish) my homework.
b) He had ____ (go) before we arrived.
৮. Conditional Sentences-এ if clause অনুযায়ী verb ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Rule:
- If clause-এ Simple Present হলে result clause-এ Future Tense হয়।
Example: - If he works hard, he will succeed.
- If I were rich, I would help the poor.
Exercise:
a) If you ____ (study) well, you ____ (pass) the exam.
b) If I ____ (be) a bird, I ____ (fly).
৯. Passive Voice-এ Verb-এর Past Participle হয়।
Rule:
- Passive voice-এ be verb-এর সঙ্গে main verb-এর Past Participle (V3) ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Example: - The book is written by him.
- The work was completed yesterday.
Exercise:
a) The letter ____ (write) by her.
b) The food ____ (cook) by the chef.
১০. Imperative Sentence-এ verb-এর base form থাকে।
Rule:
Imperative Sentence (অধিকার, অনুরোধ, বা নির্দেশ) verb-এর মূল রূপ দিয়ে শুরু হয়।
Example:
- Close the door.
- Bring me a glass of water.
Exercise:
a) ____ (Stand) up!
b) ____ (Help) the poor.
১১. Infinitive ব্যবহারে “to + verb”।
Rule:
Infinitive ব্যবহারে to + verb হয় এবং এটি সাধারণত কাজের উদ্দেশ্য বা উদ্দেশ্য ব্যাখ্যা করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Example:
- He wants to learn English.
- She loves to sing.
Exercise:
a) I came here ____ (help) you.
b) They tried ____ (solve) the problem.
১২. Gerund হিসেবে Verb-এর -ing ফর্ম।
Rule:
Gerund হিসেবে Verb-এর শেষে -ing যোগ হয় এবং এটি Noun-এর মতো কাজ করে।
Example:
- Reading books is fun.
- He enjoys playing football.
Exercise:
a) ____ (swim) is a good exercise.
b) They are interested in ____ (travel).
১৩. Present Perfect Continuous-এ has/have been + verb-ing।
Rule:
Present Perfect Continuous Tense-এ has/have been + verb-ing বসে।
Example:
- He has been reading for two hours.
- They have been working since morning.
Exercise:
a) I ____ (study) here for three years.
b) She ____ (sing) since 5 p.m.
১৪. Past Perfect Continuous-এ had been + verb-ing।
Example:
Past Perfect Continuous Tense-এ had been + verb-ing বসে।
Example:
- They had been playing before it started raining.
- She had been studying for hours.

a) We ____ (wait) for him for two hours.
b) He ____ (work) there before he left.
১৫. Wish বা Unreal Condition-এ were ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Rule:
Wish বা Unreal Condition-এর ক্ষেত্রে সব Subject-এর জন্য were ব্যবহার করা হয়।
Example:
- I wish I were rich.
- If I were a bird, I would fly.
Exercise:
a) I wish I ____ (be) a doctor.
b) If he ____ (be) here, he could help us.
১৬. Time Clause-এ Present Simple ব্যবহার।
Rule:
Future-এর পরিবর্তে Time Clause-এ Present Simple Tense ব্যবহার করা হয়।
Example:
- I will wait here until he comes.
- When she arrives, we will leave.

a) I will call you as soon as you ____ (reach) home.
b) He will go out after he ____ (finish) his homework.
১৭. Habitual Action-এ Present Simple।
Rule:
Habitual Action বোঝাতে Present Simple Tense ব্যবহার করা হয়।
Example:
- He drinks tea every morning.
- They go to school daily.

a) She ____ (wake) up early every day.
b) We ____ (play) football on Fridays.
১৮. Let-এর পরে Verb-এর Base Form।
Rule:
Let-এর পরে সবসময় Verb-এর Base Form বসে।
Example:
- Let me go.
- Let him speak.
Exercise:
a) Let us ____ (help) him.
b) Let her ____ (write) the letter.
১৯. Suggest/Recommend-এর পরে Verb-এর Base Form।
Rule:
Suggest বা Recommend-এর পরে that + subject + verb-এর base form হয়।
Example:
- I suggest that he study hard.
- The doctor recommended that she rest.

a) He suggested that we ____ (leave) early.
b) The teacher recommended that they ____ (practice) more.
২০. “Need” Auxiliary হলে Base Form।
Rule:
“Need” Auxiliary Verb হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হলে এর পরে Verb-এর Base Form থাকে।
Example:
- You need not worry.
- Does he need go there?
Exercise:
a) You need not ____ (cry).
b) Does she need ____ (call) them?
২১. Reflexive Verbs।
Rule:
Subject এবং Object একই হলে Reflexive Pronoun (myself, yourself, herself, etc.) ব্যবহার হয়।
Example:
- He hurt himself.
- She introduced herself.

a) They enjoyed ____ (themselves).
b) I taught ____ (myself) how to cook.
২২. Express Purpose: to + verb।
Rule:
কোনো কাজের উদ্দেশ্য বোঝাতে to + verb ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Example:
- She went to the market to buy vegetables.
- He studies hard to pass the exam.
Exercise:
a) He came here ____ (see) you.
b) She works hard ____ (support) her family.
২৩. Reporting Verb-এর পরে Verb-এর Base Form।
Rule:
Reporting Verb (e.g., tell, order, ask) এর পরে Base Form ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Example:
- He told me to stay.
- She asked him to leave.

a) They ordered us ____ (wait) outside.
b) She told me ____ (be) careful.
২৪. Linking Verb-এর পরে Adjective বসে।
Rule:
Linking Verb (e.g., be, become, seem, look, sound) এর পরে Adjective বসে।
Example:
- She is happy.
- The food tastes delicious.

b) The movie seems ____ (interesting).
২৫. Relative Clause-এর পরে Verb-এর Subject অনুযায়ী ব্যবহার।
Rule:
Relative Clause-এর Verb, Clause-এর Subject-এর Number অনুযায়ী ব্যবহার করতে হয়।
Example:
- The boy who plays football is my friend.
- The students who study hard will succeed.
